USSD fee status and school balances

Check fee status

1. 1Step 1. Use the USSD code displayed by the school in the app. The current Ghana screen displays *713*9562#.
2. 2Step 2. Choose Check fee status and enter the pupil Payment ID.
3. 3Step 3. Read the pupil, class, school and outstanding amount shown. If there are other bills, the response can indicate them.
4. 4Step 4. Use the payment app address shown in the response to make an online fee payment. The fee-status lookup itself does not collect the tuition payment.

School wallet actions

Where available, the menu also offers app-credit and SMS-credit purchases. Enter the school code, confirm the school name and review the amount before continuing. If top-ups are unavailable, use the in-app Request Voucher option instead.

Authorised wallet balance checks

Check balance is a school-wallet feature, separate from an individual pupil’s fee status. A school admin must add the calling number under the authorised USSD phone setting. If the menu says Not authorized, ask the school admin to confirm the number rather than entering a different school’s code.

Availability

The USSD service can be disabled or unavailable on a particular network or in another country. Follow the current menu and the school’s supported payment options. A school code and a pupil Payment ID serve different purposes.
