App credits, SMS, AI and vacation mode
Understand the school’s service balances and review the effects of top-ups and pauses.

Before you begin
- School billing access and the specific authorization for changing billing settings.
Read School Mann app credits
- Step 1. Open Settings → Billing.
- Step 2. Review the app balance, school status, trial position and current daily charge.
- Step 3. Read the runway estimate as an estimate based on recent usage, not a guaranteed expiry date.
- Step 4. Follow the top-up method shown for your school and check the resulting balance and transaction history.

Review SMS and AI separately
One balance does not automatically cover all services. Before generating lesson notes or remarks, check the AI availability message. Before sending SMS, review which service is configured and the recipient/segment estimate.

|---|---|
| Mann app credits | Daily service usage for pupils on roll. |
| SMS | The SMS balance or the school’s configured Hubtel account and segment rate. |
| AI assistance | Whether the school or personal account pays, and the applicable trial or balance. |
Use vacation mode deliberately
- Step 1. Review the pause/resume control and the school’s remaining vacation limits.
- Step 2. Read the confirmation before entering vacation mode. Daily app charges pause and operational changes may be restricted.
- Step 3. Keep records available for reference and resume when the school is ready to work again.
- Step 4. Check the new status and charging position after resuming.
