Enter or correct one pupil’s marks

  1. Step 1. Open Enter Marks to work on one pupil rather than the class sheet.
  2. Step 2. Choose the class and pupil, then the relevant subject or assessment.
  3. Step 3. Enter a number between zero and that assessment’s maximum.
  4. Step 4. Review the calculated result and save.
  5. Step 5. Return to the class sheet or report preview to check the corrected value.

Check how the report score is calculated

For a grouped class-score/exam arrangement, raw marks inside each group are added before scaling to the group’s share. For example, 80 out of 100 class marks contributes 40 to a 50% class share; 60 out of 100 exam marks contributes 30 to a 50% exam share. The report total is 70 out of 100. Your school’s chosen arrangement may differ.

  • Separate-score arrangements do not produce a combined total or rank.
  • If the denominator or contribution looks wrong, review Assessment setup before editing pupil scores.
  • If another staff member is editing, follow the editing status and reload before resuming.
  • A saved mark is not an approved report; continue through report preparation and approval.
